Coca-Cola makes a promotional campaign in Romania and Moldavia, through Syscom Digital

Coca-Cola HBC started, on May 17th, a promotional campaign that runs, simultaneously,in Romania and Moldavia, being the 1st campaign that takes place in both territories in the same time.

Campaign is targeting both Romanians and Moldavians through mobile phone and the site www.coca-cola.ro (made by MRM Partners) and has a mechanism accessible to both consumers’ categories.  Consumers have to send an unique code through SMS or site, those codes entering a draw that will designate the winners of campaign’s prizes.

Coca-Cola consumers may win 40.000 Adidas balls, 56 Sony LCD s and five trips for two to the final game of FIFA World Cup 2010, on July 11th. The total value of the prizes is of 350,000 EUR.

“This Coca-Cola campaign is probably the most complex of this kind ever run in Romania (…) One of the particularities of this campaign, from an operational point of view, is that, in Moldavia, the mobile phones users can chose the language they want to communicate in”, which can be Romanian, Russian or English, Maia Novolan, General Director Syscom Digital, said.

Syscom Digital launched less than a year ago, is headed by Maia Novolan and has a portfolio that includes companies such as Alexandrion, CitiBank, Coca-Cola, Groupama, LG, McDonald’s, METRO, Murfatlar, Nestle, Nordic/Rio Mare, Omniasig,  Procter&Gamble, Prima TV, Sankt Petersburg and Unilever.
