ADOR 2010 organizers announce the festival’s jury

ADOR, the only festival of Romanian advertising industry that awards strategic and creative thinking in all media, announced the jury of this years’ edition, that will be headed by Guillaume-Ulrich Chifflot, vicepresident & Head of Creation Leo Burnett France.

The jury also includes Armin Jochum – Creative Managing Director Jung von Matt/Alster Hamburg (Germany),Dave Bedwood – Creative Partner Lean Mean Fighting Machine (UK), Leandro Raposo – General Creative Director McCann Erickson Madrid (Spain) and Pietro Maestri – Executive Creative Director JWT Milan (Italy).

The jury will analyze all the entries in competition during a judging period that starts on September 13th and ends on September 24th.

The competition is still open for entries till September 3rd, the price for an entry being of RON 800 (around Euro 200).

Guillaume-Ulrich Chifflot, now Vice-President & Head of Creation Leo Burnett (France), started his career in advertising in 1992, as Art Director of BDDP Paris.

Five years later, he become copywriter at CLM BBDO, than, in 2000, he teamed up with Cedric Moutaud at Y&R Paris.

In 2002, he worked together with Erik Vervroeghen at TBWA Paris, where he become Deputy Creative Director in 2006. In 2007, he took over creative team of BBDP&Fils as Creative Director and, starting March this year he is the head of creation and vicepresident at Leo Burnett France.

Armin Jochum is Creative Managing Director at Jung von Matt/Alster Hamburg. He started his career in 1988, as Junior Art Director at DIE CREW Stuttgart. During his career, he worked for agencies such as Wensauer DDB Neddham, H2E and Leonhardt & Kern or BBDO Stuttgart.

He become Creative Managing Director Jung von Matt/Alster Hamburg last year and, starting July 1st, he is member in the management board of Jung von Matt AG.

Dave Bedwood from Lean Mean Fighting Machine UK formed, with Sam Ball, one of the 1st creative teams that, in 1999, migrated from tradition advertising towards online advertising. The two become Creative Directors of Tribal DDB in 2001 and, in 2004, they started Lean Mean Fighting Machine, together with Dave Cox and Tom Bazeley.

Leandro Raposo, General Creative Director, McCann Erickson Madrid (Spain), won the 1st award for creativity when he was 17, a special scholarship to Special Creative School.

He was Executive Creative Director Agulla y Baccetti Lowe, General Creative Director at JWT Argentina and, in 2005, General Regional Creative Director JWT Latam. He was also the author of the campaign that helped, in 2007, the 1st woman to become president of Argentina.

Pietro Maestri is Executive Creative Director at JWT Milan since 2002. Born in 1961, he first made aquintance with the advertising industry in 1962, when he was a model for a print campaign for Shell.After he started his career as a Copy at McCann Erickson Milan, he moved to Ogilvy & Mather Italy and, later, became Creative Group Head Young & Rubicam Italy. In 1988, he was Associate Creative Director at TBWA and, 3 years later, founded Transatlantic, later merged with Conquest (the nowadays Red Cell) from WPP.
