Mark Cowan from Facebook will attend RoNewMedia 5.0

Facebook joins Google, Microsoft and Yahoo at RoNewMedia, that becomes this way the most important online industry event that took place in Bucharest until now.

Facebook participates, for th 1st time, at a conference dedicated to online and organized in Romania, through a 1st rank official. Mark Cowan, Head of Emerging Markets EMEA Facebook, will join representatives from Google, Microsoft and Yahoo that will take part at the presentations and debates at RoNewMedia 5.0.

We salute Facebook’s presence in Bucharest, as we were happy to have, at the other editions, also in premiere, speakers from Yahoo or Google, that stayed close to us at this edition also, a fact that shows that also in Bucharest there can be organized an event comparable with the conferences in any European capital

As head of emerging markets, Mark Cowan is responsible with developing and popularization of the Social media marketing mechanisms Facebooks offers to the consumers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Programmed for November 9 and 10, at Crystal Ballroom & Events, RoNewMedia will focus on trends and technics of the latest generation in online advertising, mobile, gaming, social media, digital marketing and online enterprenorship.

On November 9th, during the Inspiring Day, Mark Cowan will be present at RoNewMedia in the same time with Hugo Barra – Product Management Director &  Global Product Lead for Mobile Google, John Hrvatin – Lead Program Manager Internet Explorer, Microsoft, Ebbe Altberg – Vice President & Head of Audience Europe, Yahoo, Timothy Bataillie – Business Development CEE, Turkey & MENA region Netlog, Laurent Haug – Founder and CEO of Lift conferences (Geneva, Elvetia) and Kim Weckstrom – entrepreneur, Senior Partner Avaus Consulting & Board Member la Interquest Oy.

The second day of the event, Working Day, will be a day where the public can meet trainers from Yahoo, Google and other online internaional companies. The evenings will be reserved to informal networking, parties and the excellence prizes for web design and web TV.

At this year’s edition of RoNewMedia 5.0  there will be also an exhibition of high tech, under the title RoHiTech.
