Ads, Creativity

After being present on the advertising market for 20 years, Toronto advertising agency Gee, Jeffery & Partners is closing its doors. With this occasion, they have a Closing Down Liquidation Fire Sale on November 18, with all proceeds going to Jake’s House for children with autism.

“For 20 years GJP has been making advertising history and now GJP is history.”, says Alan Gee, Chairman, GJP. “It’s been a heck of a ride.”, he added.

To go out in pure ad-style, GJP has produced a campaign, their last, promoting their closing and the sale. The star of campaign’s video is Alan Gee.

The team that worked on this campaign includes Andrew Simon – Chef Creative Officer and Writer, Rich Cooper – Writer, Gord Cathmoir – Producer, Alan Gee – Chairmanm Shawn Zeytinoglu – director, Radke Films – production company, Scott Mackenzie and Scott Smith – producers, Dennis Bier – Producer / Production Manager, Rooster – editorial company and Janson Grebski – editor.

The agency is still working on additional campaign elements, such as wild postings and social media.

The items up for sale include awards, advertising annuals, furniture, computer equipment, office supplies, toupees, unproduced creative ideas, presentation outfits and many more.
