Bucharest council voted on outdoor advertising
Bucharest Council members approved, in an extraordinary meeting on Thursday, the Advertising Rules to be applied in Bucharest, that stipulates that the outdoor supports can be placed on public domain only after the spaces are auctioned by Town Hall.
The project was voted after a series of changes was applied. Among the change, the employees from the Town Hall must ask placement studies regarding the number and dimensions of the ads and other special documentation.
According to the new rules, it is forbidden to place ads on monuments or historical buildings or buildings that have a public mission.
The general provisions regarding the outdoor advertising in Bucharest were set up through a Governmental project approved on December 23rd.
