Sofia Vicoveanca – the image of the new communication campaign launched by KRUK Romania
KRUK Romania, member of KRUK Group – leader on debts market in Poland and top company on Romanian specialized market – launched the campaign “Tradition and Folklore” in Romania, aiming to bring back in Romanians’ attention the Romanian habits, from old times to present, when it comes of planning the personal budgets and debts payments.
The campaign (concept, strategy and implementation) was made by Tempo Advertising. The visual elements of the campaign are declined on all KRUK’s communication supports, including on the notifications sent to people in debts.
The image ambassador of this communication campaign is known Romanian folklore singer Sofia Vicoveanca. The media campaign runs on TV (Etno, Favorit, Taraf, Mynele, N24 and Kanal D) and print (Libertatea).
Romanians are hard working but, many times, they have to deal with a lot of difficulties. They know to manage in the most difficult situations, they find clever solutions, but they also need a good plan to get over problems like financial debts. I joined this campaign because I want to be close to Romanians, to help them understand that they aren’t alone when it comes of fighting debts and that any help can be of benefit to them

In 2011, KRUK Romania ran the communication and educational campaign “My Debt”, that presented Romanians’ payments conduit when it comes solving financial problems. The campaign received 2 Golds and 1 Silver at Romanian PR Award Gala 2012. Also last year, KRUK Romania ran the communication campaign “Woman, the accountable of the house’ and implemented the alternative educational module “Pocket money”, part of the national GROW program, made together with the association Values School. The campaign had over 1,000 pupils participating, with them learning how to plan and use their pocket money.
The campaign we launched this spring is an appeal to tradition and folklore, a way we try to make people remember that, over times, they went through problems even more serious then debts – a problem that can be solved today through dialogue with the representatives of the debts collecting company. The payments engagements in convenient rates, that our company proposes to people with financial debts, represent an amiable solution for this problem, and the permanent dialogue we have with those people is a helping hand to them
