Partnership ICEEfest – UBER to transport for free the participants to the festival
UBER and ICEEfest organizers closed a partnership that sees the participants to the festival benefiting of discounts and promotions during the two days of festival, on June 11-12.
For the participants that don’t have an UBER account yet, the first advantage is that they will benefit of 2 free rides towards events from the festival, if their value is of max RON25 and if one of the end points of the ride is ICEEfest. Practically, the code for free rides will be available only to reach to or to leave from ICEEfest 2015, during festival’s period.
The second benefit targets all participants to ICEEfest, including those already using UBER, and they will have 15% discount to any ride to or from UBER Station (which will be placed in front of a special entry). Moreover, participants that prove that they came with UBER to ICEEfest 2015 are expected by a team who will facilitate their fast entry in the events’ rooms, without having to wait in line to register.
This type of partnership is made for the first time by UBER with an event in Romania. ICEEfest expects over 2,500 participants from 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Among the 50 speakers to share their expertise at the festival, there is also UBER’s representative in the region, Rob Khazzam.
ICEEfest – Interactive Central and Eastern Europe Festival – is organized by ThinkDigital in partnership with Orange. The official car of the event is Toyota Hybrid and the official transporter – UBER. The tickets are available on ICEEfest’s website and can be bought with a 25% discount until May 15th.
