Authors of some spectacular online campaigns and productions, in Bucharest for ICEEfest
Professionals working for creativity and online content industry – advertising agencies or content creators for brands – will find events of maximum interest for them at ICEEfest 2015.
One of the top speakers to attend the event is Geoffrey Hantson, author of the TNT campaign nominated by YouTube, a few days ago, in the top of the most important video campaigns in the last 10 years.
Speakers in the first day of the festival will be also Anthony Baker (R/GA), Dan Machen and Felix Morgan (HeyHuman) and Yonathan Dominitz, founder Mindscapes, company specialized in training in creativity and innovation areas.
Anthony Baker is one of the people involved in the project that “moved” online searches from laptop / smartphone’s screen into London’s streets. In the end of 2013, Baker and R/GA, where he is tech director, were working with Google and launch Google Outside, a project aimed to remind people how amazing is the biggest search engine in the world.
Dan Machen and Felix Morgan come from HeyHuman, agency which, a few months ago, made a fascinating study together with the Danish researchers from Copenhagen University. They established that using the phone while watching TV has a negative effect on the brain, similar to drogs, as the brain “learns” this way to be unorganized, its connections get modified and this can influence the IQ in a negative way. Besides the studies on consumers’ habits, HeyHuman is also behind memorable campaigns from Sony, Unilever or Tassimo.
The first day of the event will also include “Extreme innovation” session, where the speakers will be James Britton and Cameron Temple from Stinkdigital, one of the most awarded in the world and that made for Google – one of its clients – the spectacular “Inside Abbey Road” project.
Another known speaker to be present at ICEEfest is Polle de Maagt, who is behind one of the most successful and awarded campaigns for an airline.
In 2010, just two months after the air tragedy that resulted in the death of Polish president, de Maagt and Boondoggle agency tried to give back to people the trust in airlines and to surprise the passengers waiting to board KLM flights. The campaign, which started from a simple question – “Is happiness viral?” – was awarded Bronze in Cannes Lions and Gold and Silver at Spinawards.
The session “Trends in Technology & Innovative Marketing” will take place in the second day of the festival (June 12th) and will bring on stage speakers like Jonathan Kelly and Nick Shadbolt from Candyspace, Laurence Hebberd from LinkHumans – specialized in LinkedIn campaigns, Rogier Croes from MEC Global, Andre Alpar from ZenithOptimedia and Allison Adams from FleishmanHillard.
ICEEfest – Interactive Central and Eastern Europe Festival – is organized by ThinkDigital, in partnership with Orange. The official car is Toyota Hybrid. Festival tickets are available on www.ICEEfest.com.
