“Romania waited on the side line for almost 20 years . In 2006, one year after opening a IAF bureau in Romania, we had the 1st juror at Eurobest – Alina Gavrila (Gavrila si asociatii). In 2008, we had a first, two jurors in two different sections: Razvan Capanescu (Film, print, outdoor) and Corina Bernschutz (media). 2010 is another key moment: Romania has three sections in which has jurors at the festival dedicated to European creativity. For the ones that read between the lines, is both an encouraging sign for the entire market and a trust vote for the way we harmonize locally the projects linked to Eurobest and Cannes”, Teodora Migdalovici, IAF representative in Romania, said when announcing Nicoleta Padure as member of the Eurobest’s Media jury.

Launched in 1988, Eurobest is Europe’s leading annual awards competition for creative excellence in the categories of Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Mobile, Media, Direct, Sales Promotion, Design, Craft, PR and Integrated advertising. Launched in 2008, the Festival has been held in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Organised by the same team behind the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the Dubai Lynx International Advertising Festival and Spikes Asia, the Eurobest Advertising Festival is a purely European event.
