Romanian Effie Awards attract only 48 campaigns at the 7th edition

Romanian Effie Awards attracted only 48 campaigns in this year’s competition. Those campaigns are coming from 20 agencies and companies. At last year’s edition of Romanian Effie there were 70 entries submitted by 26 agencies and companies.

The winners of Effie Awards will be announced during a Gala that will take place T
hursday, June 10th, at Romanian Opera House. The hosts of the event will be IAA Romania and Romanian Advertising Agencies Association.

There is no information, at this moment, regarding the names of the companies and agencies that will be present with campaigns in competition.

There is also a difference between 2010 edition and the one last year in what concerns prices. In 2010, the ones that want to be present at the Gala must pay RON 300 if they are members of IAA Romania and RAAA or RON 400 if they aren’t. Also, agencies that buy 10 invitations to the gala, paying only for 8. At last year edition’s, the fee was RON 500 for IAA / RAAA members and RON 700 for non-members.
