Rogalski-Grigoriu, The Practice and Grey Bucharest, shortlisted at Cannes Lions
The Romanian PR agencies Rogalski-Grigoriu and The Practice and the advertising agency Grey Bucharest are present on the shortlists of the first competition that will designate their winners at Cannes Lions 2010.
In the following days, Cannes Lions 2010 will announce its first winners, for the PR Lions,Promo&Activation, Direct, Radio, Outdoor, Media and Press competitions, the shortlisted works for these categories being already known.
Rogalski-Grigoriu and The Practice are the Romanian PR agencies that entered the PR Lions shortlist. Rogalski-Grigoriu entered the PR Lions shortlist with “Money School” for BCR, while The Practice is present with “Little Voice, Big Sound” for Phoenix.
The “Money School” project was implemented with the work of more than one agency. The teams involved included Mihai Fanache – Managing Partner, Sorana Roman – Interactive Planner, Octavian Cioaca – Digital Media Director and Adrian Puescu – Creative Director from Media Cafe, Bogdan Prajisteanu – Managing Director, Lucia Gradisteanu – Media Director and Marius Pahomi – Interactive Media Director from Mediaedge:cia Romania, Aura Toma – Client Service Director and Adrian Preda – Creative Director from Tempo, Sorina Mihai – Managing Director BT Events, Irina Ciolac – Public Relations Public Relations Consultant/Media Relations, Eliza Rogalski – Head of Project/Public Relations Consultant, Simona Dan – Client Service Director and Alexandra Ion – Head of Online Public Relations Practice from Rogalski Grigoriu.
Client’s team was formed from Daniel Pana – Executive Director Marketing Division, Felicia Halauca – Head of Direct Marketing, Adina Loghin – Head of BTL and Alina Camelia Petcu – Marketing Specialist.
For “Little Voice, Big Sound”, realized by The Practice for Phoenix, the project’s team included Gabriela Lungu – Managing Partner, Oana Bulexa – Client Service Director, Andrei Balan – Strategic Planning Director and Floriana Cristea – Junior Public Relations Manager.
In the Media competition, Grey Bucharest was shortlisted with “Flower Wraps” for Procter& Gamble. Grey Romania’s team that realized the shortlisted word includes Bob Toma – Head of Art, Alex Strimbeanu – Copywriter, Eugen Alexe – Producer, Mihai Draghici – Producer, Roxana Matasel – Account Director, Claudiu Dobrita – Creative Director, Dana Fasie – Media Planner Mediacom.
About this year’s Cannes Lions
The 57th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival will take place from June 20th to June 26th, in Cannes (France).
Romanian agencies submitted this year 104 entries to Cannes Lions, most of them in categories such as Press (26), Outdoor (20) and Media (20). Next in the Romanian agencies’ preferences were PR (12), Promo (6), Film and Radio (5 each), Cyber (4), Direct (3), Design (2) and Titanium (1).
At this year’s edition of the festival, organizers announced they received more than 24,000 entries from 90 countries, this being the 4th highest level of entries ever. The increase in number of enteries is of 7% versus last year.
