Piraeus Bank Romania’s account, handed to Mather Communications Romania (Ogilvy Group)

After a rigorous pitch, Piraeus Bank Romania handed its integrated communication account to Mather Communication, after a selection process in which five advertising agencies were considered.

The partnership between Piraeus Bank and Mather Communications started in May 2010, as the agency assumed responsibility for developing and implementing the integrated communication strategy for the bank.

Previously, Pireus Bank’s account was handled by Draftfcb. In the pitch there were invited, along with Draftfcb and Mather Communications, the advertising agencies Frank, Graffiti BBDO and Lowe&Partners si Mather.

On the other hand, the media account of the bank will be administrated by MindShare, also part of Ogilvy Group Romania.

Mather Communications will offer Piraeus Bank Romania integrated services of communication, including strategy, creation, media, B2B communication, interactive communication and others. The developing of the media strategy and its implementation will be handled by MindShare Media.

Mather Communications is a full-service advertising agency launched on Romanian market last year and offers to its clients integrated communication services. Among the brands in agency’s portfolio there are Avon, Eureko and  Zentiva.
