Pagini Aurii (Yellow Pages) Romania has a new General Manager

Jesper Simonsen is the new General Manager of Pagini Aurii Romania, replacing in this position Marco Stettler, that assured the transition of the company towards a new media business model.

Before joining Pagini Aurii a year ago, Stettler worked for Ringier AG and was General Manager of company’s Ukraine’s branch.

His main mission was to assure the transition towards a new media business model, to identify new opportunities on market and to reconfigure the print edition of Pagini Aurii.

“The above mentioned objectives were started and implemented successfully by Marco Stettler, that also assured a smooth transition of Pagini Aurii from its former owner, Truvo, to the new one, Heise. Today, we have a modern company that needs strategies specific to guides’ industry, especially in sales, where Jesper Simonsen has over 15 years of experience”, Iulian Boantă, Marketing Director Pagini Aurii, said, according to a press release.

Jesper Simonsen has over 25 years of international experience in leading companies in guides industry from Eastern European countries and works with Heise Medien Gruppe for over nine years.

Heise Medien Gruppe is a family business for over 60 years and is a specialized classified guides, phonebooks and specialized magazines publisher from Germany.

Starting 1992, Heise Medien Gruppe expanded its activity in Austria, Lithuania, Letonia, Belarus and Russia.
