@Israel will go back to Israel for $3,000

The Twitter account @Israel, that was used by a Spanish pornographic website, will enter Israelian state’s use, after Foreign Ministry paid $3,000 to take over the control, as Haaretz.com informs.

The figure mentioned is smaller that the “five zeroes” transaction mentioned by the Spanish newspaper Publico

“We coordinated with the twitter account holder that he would change the name of his account and we coordinated the time that the name would change so that when the name became available we could pick it up,” said Shacham, who orchestrated the arrangement, according to Haaretz.com.
