Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, the new Head of Marketing at Astraeus Airlines
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson was named the new Head of Marketing at Astraeus Airlines, Telegraph informs.
The airline Dickinson will work for is based at British Gatwick airport and leases planes and crews to carriers including British Airways, Bmi and easyJet.
Dickinson, who is also a pilot, said about his new job that it is like “an ambassador role”.
Astraeus is a subsidiary of Eignarhaldsfelagid Fengur, which also owns low-fare carrier Iceland Express.
