UNICEF and Romanian State Radio, campaigning together

UNICEF and SRR (Romanian State Radio) launched together the “Invisible Children” campaign, that run from December 15th to December 23rd.

The campaign aims to attract funds to help as many kids as possible to become visible by having a birth certificate, know their birthday, to have a family doctor and to be a valued member of the society.

Among the personalities that support the campaign are former TV star Andreea Marin Banica and the football player Gica Hagi – UNICEF ambassadors, along with Margareta Paslaru, Florin Piersic, Corina Chiriac, Sofia Vicoveanca, Stela Popescu and Maria Dragomiroiu.

For 6 day, the Romanian personalities will ask the SRR’s listeners to help the children by donating Euro 2 with an SMS to a special  number. The campaign will have a push on 23rd December, when all the supporters will join together to try to double the number of SMSes gathered the entire week.
