Firefox, used by Europeans more than IE
Firefox (Mozilla) browser surpassed Internet Explorer (Microsoft), becoming the most used by Europeans, according to StatCounter, quoted by Reuters.
In December, Firefox had 38.1% of European market share, suprassing Internet Explorer (37.5%). Google Chrome rose to 14.6%, rising almost 3 times in usage, from 5.1% in 2009.
Globally, Internet Explorer’s share slipped to 46.9 percent in December, while Firefox was at 30.8 percent and Google was at 14.9 percent, StatCounter said.
