Luciano Deos and Dave Senay to head Deign and PR juries at Cannes Lions 2011
The Brazilian designer, architect and brand specialist, Luciano Deos, Founder and President of GAD’, will lead the Design Lions at Cannes Lions 2011 and will award the best creative and innovative use of design for brand and product communication and development.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Luciano has led numerous projects for both Brazilian and international clients including Petrobras, CPFL Energia, Gerdau, Claro and Walmart among others and has won many awards including wins at Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, LIA, Caboré, and IF Design.
He has sat on the Design Lions jury in 2009 and is President of Abedesign, the Brazilian Association of Design Companies.
I am very proud to be invited to be the president of the Design Jury at Cannes Lions this year considering this is the most respectable festival of creativity in the world. It’s also a big responsibility since the design category in the festival and the role of design in our society is increasingly expanding. I am sure that together with my friends of the jury we will work hard to award the best of design in the world in 2011.

He has participated on or led global account teams for major Fleishman-Hillard clients in industries ranging from telecommunications, biotechnology, and information technology to food, healthcare and automotive and has broad experience in corporate and crisis communications along with consumer marketing, international, public affairs and environmental programmes.
Dave is currently transforming the agency to respond to major trends such as converging social media with traditional communication channels and the globalisation of client communication needs.
There is no more prestigious or credible global stage for promoting the excellence of the industry of public relations.
