More Than Pub prepares for a book fair
More Than Pub prepares for a book fair, BookLand, that aims for 350,000 at its 1st edition.
Officially announced today, the initiative dates since last September, when More Than Pub recruited former NewsIn journalist Magda Gradinaru especially for this project.
Gradinaru worked for NewsIn and was editor for Social and Culture-Media departments.
After the Romanian market was dominated by book fairs such as Gaudeamus and Bookfest, the one organized by More Than Pub wants to be, starting this April, an alternative to them. According to estimation, the number of people estimated to be present at the 1st edition is 350,000.
The book fair will take place from April 15th to April 17th, in AFI Palace Cotroceni. The entrance is free.
The book fair will include book launches, debates, round tables, concerts, a white night and so on. The investment in the event is of @ Euro 300,000.
