Romanian Press Club awarded its prizes for the 10th time

Romanian Press Club decided, following ending the judging process,  to award it’s 10th edition prizes. A gala for handing the awards will take place in the 2nd half of August.

The list of winner includes regulars to Romanian Press Club prizes, but also new people.

The winner’s list is as it follows:

  • Simina Mistreanu (Decât o revistă)
  • Vlad Odobescu (Evenimentul Zilei)

  • Gabriela Gugeanu Baiardi (TVR Iaşi)
  • Anca Mateescu (SRR-Radio România Cultural)

Over-passing some impediments and a certain slowness, caused by the 2 years pause, taking in consideration also the context, this was an honorable edition

The fact that the sections that had the most consistent number of entries were the story ones (56 materials), cultural journalism and interview is encouraging and tonic, a living proof that, in press, there is enough talent, sensibility, charisma and vocation. And a lot of promising youth. And there are also veterans that resist and confirm. And that should make the rules in the following years, not the noisy and content empty exceptions. (…)
