Claudiu Dobrita, Creative Director at Draftfcb Bucharest, juror at Golden Drum
Claudiu Dobrita, Creative Director at Draftfcb Bucharest, is juror in the Multi-Channel jury at this year’s edition of Golden Drum. He is the 2nd Romanian juror in Golden Drum, as Razvan Capanescu from Publicis is a judge in the Single-Channel jury.
After judging TV, Press, Outdoor and Radio in 2009, Dobrita comes again at Golden Drum as a juror.
Dobrita is, since March 2011, Creative Director with Draftfcb in Bucharest, leading creative teams for brands like Vodafone, Nivea, Kraft, Redd’s, JTI and Philips.
He joined the ad industry in 2002 with Leo Burnett as Junior Copywriter then Copywriter on P&G, Philip Morris, Nestle, Western Union, as well as local iconic brands such as Altex.
He joined than Grey Bucharest, where he stayed from 2006 to 2011 and was Senior Copywriter and then Creative Director for Romtelecom, P&G, Playboy, Heineken, VISA, Bancpost and Vodafone.
In 2009, he was appointed jury member of three important international events for the award show community: The New York Festivals, Golden Drum and Eurobest.
This year’s Golden Drum is divided in 2 main sections, Multi-Channel and Single-Channel, each evaluated by an international jury.
Golden Drum was already an El Dorado for New Europe’s creatives. I remember that, in 2002-2003, here was the reaper for us. Nobody looked further away, it was sort of “first we take the region, then we take the world” (…) I’m curious how will function the new way of dividing festival’s categories in multi- and single-channel, but I’m convinced all there will still be about idea, courage, relevance, results and self-respect. I can hardly wait
