Flashmob with carols and traditional “Merry Christmas “wishes from Cosmote Romania for its customers

Consequent to its slogan “Our World is You”, Cosmote Romania offered its customers a traditional Romanian carol and wished them a warm Merry Christmas through an inedited initiative – a flash mob in Sun Plaza mall in Bucharest, on the evening of December 19th, 2011.

Over 350 people have attended on Monday evening, Cosmote’s flash mob in Sun Plaza mall and sang together “Sky and Earth”, offering an inedited moment of joy for all present.

The response of the public was wonderful and on behalf of COSMOTE I would like to thank them for singing with us. It has been a good moment for all of us to celebrate the Romanian traditions and the spirit of the Winter Holidays which make us all better

The Christmas carol sung by the participants to the flash mob is a symbolic present offered to Romanians by Cosmote, the company inviting them to share the spirit of the winter celebrations together with the beloved ones.

The moment started with a chorus singing the first harmonies of the carol, together with Ionut Tecuceanu, Anca Duma and Daniela Matei, three talented voices of the Romanian blogosphere, who supported the initiative from the very beginning.

After an initial surprise, over 350 people, passing that time through the mall, have joined the flash mob and sang the lines of the carol, thus becoming part of this special cheer.

Cosmote Romania had 6.5 million customers at September 30, 2011. Launched in 2005, Cosmote Romania is a subsidiary of Cosmote Group, that has approximately 20.4 million customers in Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Romania.
