IQAds ranked the best 2011 Romanian ads
IQAds ranked the best 2011 Romanian ads, during the 7th edition of BestAds, Romanian advertising festival that takes place exclusivly online.
During BestAds voting period, there were casted 10,000 votes that helped configure the Romanian advertising podium for 2011. The shortlist included 100 ads signed by 31 Romanian advertising agencies. The finalist ads were grouped as it follows: TV ads, Print, Radios ads, soundtrack, social media, website, viral and campaigns.
Spot TV category’s 1st place went to “Jealousy” for IqAds, that received 12% votes and was made by Next Advertising, followed by Buzau Bagles made by Propaganda and by React & Vodafone – First Aid measures, by McCann Erickson. The top 5 is rounded up by Unfiltered Bergenbier – The girl (Leo Burnett) and Orange – Love Notes (Publicis)

In print, Headvertising claimed the 1st position with Virgin Forests for WWF, followed by Oma Vision and Save the children – Listen to his soul and Pepsi – Playlist by Graffiti BBDO. Rounding up the top 5 were also Bucharest Police – Eyeless (Publicis) and Dacia – service 24/7 (Graffiti BBDO).
In Radio Ads, Propaganda claimed 1st and 2nd position of the top with spots for Radio Guerilla and Rienergy, followed by Cap, Graffiti BBDO and Mercury360. In Soundtrack top, 1st place is splitted between Propaganda and Leo Burnett, followed by Odyssey, Publicis and Graffiti BBDO.
In Social Media, McCann Erickson was designated winner of the category with ROM – Romanians are smart (36% votes), followed by Propaganda and Undercloud – Play on Facebook and Pepsi – Refresh urban life from Xplain. In top 5 were also Ferrero Romania – Fresh Comedy (HyperActive) and Bergenbier – Nefiltrat vs Fresh (iLeo).
In websites and micro-sites, Propaganda won the accolades with Boromir, followed by Senior Interactive, MRM Worldwide, Hyperactive and Kaleidoscope.
Pointless to say that Propaganda also won the Virals section, with Dolphins in Cambovita for Boromir, followed by Odyssey and Efic, Ogilvy and the Anim’est Rabbit, Headvertising and Leo Burnett.

In Campaigns, the race for the podium was tight, with 1st place shared by Propaganda and Buzau bagles and McCann Erickson – Romanians are smart for ROM. Next in top were Graffiti BBDO and Pepsi – Yesterday and Today, Headvertising – WWF, Virgin Forests and Propaganda for Radio Guerilla.
The most awarded agencies at BestAds were Propaganda (40 points), followed by McCann Erickson and Graffiti BBDO, Headvertising, Odyssey and Leo Burnett, Publicis and Next Advertising. Also, in the top were Senior Interactive, HyperActive & Oma Vision, CAP, MRM Wordlwide, Ogilvy and Xplain, Mercury360, iLeo and Kaleidoscope.
The voting process took place from February 22nd to March 11th and the entire ranking is available on IqAds Facebook, in a special app made for BestAds.
