“Romanians are smart”, Rom and McCann Erickson Romania, awarded at New York Festivals
McCann Erickson Romania and “Romanians are smart” campaign for Rom won 3 awards at New York Festivals – a Gold, a Silver and a Bronze in different categories – , Hotnews writes.
During “Romanians are smart” campaign, McCann asked the online public to change negative quantification generated automatically by Google search and turn them into positive assertions.
For the campaign, McCann Erickson Romania received a Gold in “Online – Marketing Effectiveness: Use of Medium”, a Silver in “Brand Development – Public Relations/Brand Communications: Products&Services” and a Bronze in “Confections/Snacks – Interactive: Online Advertising – Products&Services”.
These awards were received by McCann Romania after the agency won, last year, 3 awards in the same competition for “American Rom” campaign, multiple awarded during 2011 edition of Cannes Lions.
