Mercedes-Benz awarded 2 Excellence prizes at Transylvania International Film Festival

Mercedes-Benz awarded, during Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF), 2 prizes  of Excellence during the closing gala, the accolades going to Iosif Demian (director and screenwriter) and Helmut Sturmer (scenographer) for their contribution to Romanian cinema.

Previously, Mercedes showed its support for Romanian cinema by awarded important Romanian actors and directors, such as Radu Beligan (2008), Mircea Albulescu (2009), Liviu Ciulei (2010) and Lucian Pintilie (2011).

Already a tradition, the association of Mercedes-Benz with TIFF represents a normal extension of excellence oriented program that the company runs in order to support remarkable talents and artistic projects.

Also, during the festival, the company insured a fleet of 15 cars that were at TIFF guests’ disposal to drive them to different events within the festival.

The Mercedes experience was lived in Cluj also by celebrities, including TIFF jurors like Kjartan Sveinsson (Sigur Rós), Samuel Maoz (director), Mark Adams (movie critic), Ana Ularu (actress), Mike Downey (producer and CEO Film and Music Entertainment),Geraldine Chaplin, Mari Törőcsik and Ion Caramitru.

Also, Mercedes-Benz had, this year, an official blogger – Cristina Chipurici – that had the mission to find out what excellence meant for TIFF VIP guests.
