Adelin Petrisor, awarded in “editorial non-pro” category at International Photography Awards
Romanian journalist Adelin Petrisor was awarded in the “Editorial non-pro” category of the US contest International Photography Awards. He participated in contest with 5 photos from The Big Pyongyang Parade (available here).
According to organizers, over 10,000 photos from 100 countries were entered at this year’s edition of the competition. The 80 members of the jury chose 16 winners, 8 professionals and 8 non-professionals. The winners are now fighting for 2 big awards – Photographer of the Year (pros) and Discovery of the Year (non-pros). The Romanian journalist is competing for the second big prize

Besides Adelin Petrisor, Daniel Balteanu is also a finalist, in Moving Image Photographer of the Year.
