Lucian Ionita took over as Managing Director Sanoma Hearst Romania

Lucian Ionita took over as Managing Director within Sanoma Hearst Romania, starting September 11th. He replaces in this position Els Loesberg, former CEO Sanoma Hearst Romania that leaves the company to answer new challanges.

In 2005, Els Loesberg was appointed CEO South East Europe within magazine division for Eastern Europe and became CEO Sanoma Hearst Romania. Under her leadership, Sanoma went up from the 5th to 1st place in the rankings of publishing players in Romania.

Sanoma appointed Lucian Ionita in the Managing Director Sanoma Hearst Romania position as Els’ successor.

Ionita joined Sanoma in 2006, as Publisher. He coordinated, during last couple years, Family cluster within the company. He will lead now the development of company’s entire portfolio. From his new position, he will report to Heike Rosener, CEO  Sanoma Media Russia & CEE.
