Canadian Red Urban promotes The Bessies

Toronto agency Red Urban signs the campaign to promote The Bessies, directed by Untitled Films' Aleysa Young.

For the first time ever, the 2012 Bessies: Canada’s Advertising Film Awards will celebrate the best in creative and craft, with the addition of the Craft Film category and ten new awards. Honours will be given out for Animation, Best Use of Original Music, Casting, Cinematography, Colourist, Directing, Editing, Production Design, Sound Design, Special Effects and Compositing.

In addition, Kari Award will go to this year’s Best Actor or Actress. Other prestigious accolades will include the Bob Mann Award for Excellence in Post-Production, the Janet Woods Award for Best Producer, and the Spiess Award for Lifetime Achievement in Television Advertising.

The 2012 Bessies take place on September 27, the Royal Conservatory of Music.
