Mihai Gongu took over as Creative Director within GMP Advertising
Mihai Gongu is, starting mid-January, the new Creative Director of GMP Advertising, the agency informed, in a press release. Gongu joined GMP after working as Creative Director at Graffiti BBDO.
Previously, GMP Advertising’s creative team was headed by Stefan Vasilachi.
Mihai Gongu has 10 years of experience in advertising and joined GMP to answer a challenge from Andreea Nemens and Felix Tataru: become better and better, with a very high creative standard.
Gongu started his career in advertising in 2002, as copywriter at Leo Burnett. He joined Graffiti BBDO, where he was Senior Copywriter, Deputy Creative Director, Senior Creative BBDO Berlin and, starting 2010, Creative Director Graffiti BBDO.
Mihai Gongu won over 50 trophies in international and local competitions, was the 1st Romanian creative at Cannes Young Lions (2005) and was a juror at Golden Drum, New York Festivals and Eurobest.
