The Secret Service and Hertz tempt corporate people with ski cabins in elevators
The Secret Service and Hertz SUV rental services transformed elevators from important Bucharest business buildings in ski cabins hanging over ski tracks.
When people working in business building are waiting the elevators, they face a question – “Wouldn’t you like to be at the mountain side right now?” – inscribed on elevator’s doors. Once the elevator opens, the “passengers” receive their answer and step in a ski cabin that shows them, through the windows, the snowy mountains and ski tracks.
The solution to get at the mountain side comes from HERTZ, that has special week-end tariffs and targets groups of skiers from multinational companies. It is an invitation to gather more colleagues and rent a car suited for mountain travelling. An SUV can accommodate with no problems the travelers, their ski equipment and luggage, while the driving till the sky track is comfortable with no problems caused by weather or roads. Besides all that, the price is reasonable: Euro 16.5 / person /day.
HERTZ offer represents also an initiative to educate Romanian consumer, that still considers that renting a car represents an exotic gesture although the price is accessible. Moreover, this campaign builds awareness for the brand on the Romanian market, which is more and more important for rent-a-car operator, which focuses on developing corporate and retail services adapted to its specifics.
For this, the client involved also the agency, that offers both communication services and marketing and sales consultancy.
The special HERTZ ski cabins from offices buildings in Bucharest became functional in December and will continue until February.
The Secret Service team that worked on the project included Adina Sorescu – Strategy Director, Mihai Ene – Creative Director and Copywriter, George Grosescu – Art Director & Retoucher and Mihai Tigleanu – Graphic Designer. The implementation of the project was made by Media Concept Store.
The client was represented in this campaign by Adina Novac – Marketing Manager and Catalin Tihon – General Manager HERTZ Romania.
