Adrian Preda takes over as Creative Director at Friends Advertising

On May 7th, Adrian Preda (Predu) posted on Facebook an image with the 1st day in a new agency (most Romanians working in advertising or liking the domain spotted immediately Friends’ attic) and, soon after, Friends Advertising invited the journalist to come meet its new Creative Director.

During the meeting, Preda said that his aim is to take all that is good in Friends’ creative department and push all to a whole new level.

On the other side, Sorin Tranca will switch towards strategy and get more involved in new projects and work tools.

Friends is famous for its DNA within the industry, as “Work Hard and Have Fun”. I hope me coming in the agency will add to this DNA the idea of “Go Forward”

Predu has 14 years of experience in advertising and digital marketing and previously work in agencies such as BBDO Romania, Tempo Advertising, McCann Erickson Croatia and MRM Worldwide Romania.

Sorin Tranca, advertising and social projects entrepreneur, will continue to make team with Bojan Spasič, his creative team partner for 15 years.

We will dedicate ourselves to other communication projects and we will improve the strategic process. Simultaneously, we are working on developing new work instrumentss that would approach more intelligent and more efficient the consumer. All those will bring the agency to its next development level, closer to the abroad models

According to Friends representatives, the first results of the new construction will be visible next year. 10 years after launching on the Romanian market, in April, Friends Advertising started a process to reinvent its business, in the digital era of communication. The agency will invest around half million dollars to support the development of its new architecture, that involves new resources within the agency, trainings, consultants, partnerships, developing new companies and new instruments.

Friends Advertising has Sorin Tranca as its main shareholder and had a RON 3.83M turnover in 2012 (+67% compared to previous years.
