Google, Facebook, Yahoo: What will the main competitors on global online ad market present at ICEEfest
A few days before ICEEfest starts its 2013 edition, the major players of the online industry finished their plans for their presence at Bucharest’s even.
Google will focus his year on the fresh launch of YouTube on more markets in the region, including on Romanian one. During the 1st day of the festival, a dedicated training will be held by a Google team and will approach both video platform’s relation with content producers (Maciej Sojka – Head of Youtube Content Partnership for Central and Eastern Europe), and the advertising options ( Bogdana Butnar and Doina Costache – Google Romania).
Another Google representative, Tomasz Czudowski, New Products & Solutions Lead for CEE, will present the novelties brought by Youtube on he main stage of the festival and, afterwards, will participate, along with Discovery Channel, HBO GO, DG Mediamind, SeeNow, Kanal D, Alpha TV and BBC to one of the most expected segments of the event: presentations and debates on the future of TV under internet’s offensive.
Also in the firs day, Dan Bulucea, GM Google Romania, will be present to the evening discussion, where stars and celebrities – among which Horia Brenciu, Marius Moga or Delia Matache – will speak, during a debate moderated by Cabral Ibaka, abou how social media changed their relation with the public.
Facebook also brings in Bucharest, especially for ICEEfest, 3 specialist that will approach themes of interest. During the 1st day, Serhad Bolukcu, CEE Market Manager, will speak about brand content and, during 2nd day, will show how Facebook can be used as a tool for performance marketing. Also in the 1st day, Weronika Sobolak, Client Partner Global Marketing Solutions, will talk about “the long way from click to vote”, during a debate on political marketing, while, during the 2nd day, Juanma Jura, Lead for EMEA Gaming Marketing Solutions, will speak about markeing for games and apps on mobile phones.
The hot subjects related to Facebook will be afterwards concentrated in an intensive 2 hours training, in the 2nd day of the event; the training will reunite all company’s representatives and specialists from Thinkdigital, that represent the social network in the region.
Yahoo couldn’t be absent either from ICEEfest and will be represented by Nick Hugh, Vicepresident and Head of Display Solutions EMEA; also, Yahoo!’s local representative, Mediacafe, will also be present at the event.
ICEEfest is organized by Thinkdigital in partnership with Orange and support from Microsoft – via Internet Explorer 10 and Windows 8 – and will take place on 6-7 June, at Grand Cinema Digiplex (Baneasa Shopping City).
