Reveal Marketing Research: Romanian men to spend more money on presents for Holidays
According to a Reveal Marketing Research study on consumption habits around winter holidays, 60% of Romanians intend to spend at least the same amount of money they did last year in order to buy presents. Over 70% prefer to offer presents to the loved ones, with 35% preferring to go shopping for presents alone.
The study shows that 27.7% men say that, in 2013, they will buy for their loved ones more expensive presents, while women (40.9%) will spend the same amount like in 2012.
When it comes of presents they wish, men want electronics (18.9%) and clothes (11.6%), while women wish a change of wardrobe (14.8%) and new accessories and jewels (11.5%). Still, on top of the list, same as during previous year, are toys for kids (49.1%), clothes (46.8%), accesories (28.6%), home deco (23.8) and electronics (12%).
Reveal Marketing Research study shows that, on Christmas, we want to make happy the loved ones by offering them the most beautiful presents. In 2013, most Romanians will spend on presents a budget at least equal to 2012, men being more generous with their wives, while women are focusing more on children presents
