Radu Sitaru, CEO Netbridge Services, owner of Okazii.ro, stated that the e-commerce platform “posted, in 2013, an increase of transaction volume of 20% compared to previous year”, according to a press release sent by the company.

For 2014, our estimates show that the transaction volume on Okazii.ro will continue to have an ascending trend and we expect an increase of almost 25%

In 2013, compared to previous year, the number of products available on Okazii.ro increased by 100%, reaching to 2.8M new and second hand products listed in all platform’s categories.

In order to increase and consolidate the trust in online buys from Okazii.ro, the e-commerce platform developed and continues to develop safety services such as  delivery guarantee, card online payment, qualification system and verified user.

Okazii.ro turned from a second hand products website in an online shopping mall, offering new products for attractive prices. In present, the report between new and second hand products on Okazii.ro is 67% new products and 33% second hand products. We are the biggest e-commerce platform in Romania, we are characterized by safety offered to users, products diversity, very good prices for a diverse range of products and the big number of sellers with experience on the platform, forming a well shaped community

In 2013, around half million Romanians ordered by phone at least one product from Okazii.ro and 140,000 sellers, physical and juridical persona, chose the platform to sell their products.

Last year, the most bought products on Okazii.ro were smartphones iPhone and Samsung, sports shoes, novels, t-shirts, modern coins and tablets.

The counties with most transactions on Okazii.ro were Bucharest and Ilfov, Cluj, Timis, Iasi, Prahova, Constanta and Brasov.

Officially launched in April 2000, Okazii.ro is the biggest e-commerce website in Romania, with over 2.8M new and second hand products offered by 140,000 sellers and online stores. On monthly basis, Okazii.ro is accessed by over 4.2M visitors .
