McCann Romania, double awarded at IAA Excellence Awards 2014

Adrian Botan, Creative Partner McCann Bucuresti and VP Creative Excellence McCann Erickson CEE, received the award for “20 years of Excellence in communication”, at IAA Romania’s Excellence Awards Gala 2014.

I always tell creatives in my team that they are as good as the last campaign they made. And that is true also for myself. So I like to peak at the past, but to face the future. Thank you for the award. We are preparing for the next 20 years

After Sebastian Olar got, last year, during the same event, the “IAA Young Professional” award, McCann claimed the prize this year also, through Ioana Filip, Group Creative Director.

I always believed in coincidences, in professional karma. I believe that, when you do everything from passion, everything comes back to you. This award meant a lot to me, because it isn’t an one-shot-only award. It isn’t a prize that you receive because you were lucky or because you have an idea at some point, it is a consequence. A consequence of the passion for advertising, of the campaigns you work on and that bring added-creativity to the entire industry. I look at my colleagues and I strongly believe that today’s young creatives are the engine of a Romanian advertising industry that the entire world will hear about. I hope that, next year, I give the place to a young person 10 times more passionate than me
