The Cup Awards prepare for mid-April
Intercontinental Advertising Cup, a godchild of Michael Conrad, prepares for its 7th edition mid-April, in Belgrad.
Michael Conrad, former President and Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide, and then founder and President of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, nurtured The Cup all the way from its beginning to this year’s 7th edition.
At the 7th edition of the event, Michael Conrad will, for the first time, personally chair the prestigious intercontinental jury. Previous Cups’ presidents were Piyush Pandey, Milka Pogliani, Celso Loducca, Satoshi Takamatsu and Amir Kassaei, while the very first Cup jury in Valencia 2007 did not have a formal president.
The Intercontinental Advertising Cup has a very special judging system in which only the best of the best get to compete; it judges only awarded and short-listed entries at participating continental festivals. The Cup jury therefore judges the shortest and at the same time probably the strongest selection of locally inspired creativity from all over the world.
Nine jury members from four continents will judge the super-selection of four festivals from April 13 to 16 in Belgrade.
The Cup is scheduled to take place on April 17th at Crowne Plaza Hotel Belgrade.
