Moment Zero and Coca-Cola Zero come with a new ad in Canada
This week, Steven Stamkos made his return as an NHL superstar and also his return as an actor, with his on-screen skills on display in the third Coca-Cola Zero “Moment Zero” film, as he immortalizes Brian Clarke’s singular moment of sports greatness.
This is the third film in a series being produced by Coca-Cola Zero that pays tribute to sports-loving devotees across the country by telling the stories of their momentous sports events – their “Moment Zero”. Moment Zero is the moment before an epic event unfolds for a young Canadian. It’s the moment when he or she makes a decision that leads to a legendary story that is talked about over and over again. In Brian’s case, it all began when he decided he’d rather play hockey in figure skates than let down his team.
Coca-Cola Zero continues to celebrate the everyday unsung sports hero, the guy that has such an incredible sports story that it’s become folklore amongst his group of friends (…) We heard some incredible stories from our fans and it was hard to pick one. We had a great time bringing this story to life and can’t wait to share it.
Diego Moratorio,
Senior Brand Manager Coca-Cola Zero
In each film, the role of the hero is played by a sports legend that immortalizes the character and his moment of greatness. Canadian hockey star Steven Stamkos plays the lead role of Brian Clarke. And with the help of great Canadian hockey clubs and a partnership with TSN (The Sports Network), Coca-Cola Zero leveraged the film’s talented actors, including star Jordan Eberle and supporting cast member James Duthie from TSN. This truly epic hockey story can be viewed at full length at YouTube.com/MomentZero.
“The Coca-Cola Zero ‘Make it Possible – Moment Zero’ campaign embraces our fans and makes them a part of the story,” added Moratorio. “It brings Coca-Cola Zero into the everyday lives and experiences of Canadians.”
