Romanian Romgaz’ communication campaign for London Stock Exchange listing, nominated at EMEA Sabre Awards
The communication campaign “Romgaz, the 1st state company from Romania listed on London Stock Exchange” is on shortlist at EMEA Sabre Awards, in “Governmental agencies” category.
Sabre Awards (Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation) is awarding PR campaigns and registered, this year, over 2,400 entries from over 40 markets.
Romgaz’ listing is a reference moment for romania, as it is the first IPO of a state company in Romania on London Stock Exchange. Romanian Government monetized Romgaz’ potential, betting on key elements like company’s profile, economic and political stability of the local market and the engagement of authorities in opening state companies towards private capital. I trusted in this project and I’m convinced we will talk about similar results also for future listings
Constantin Nita,
Romanian Economy Minister
Romgaz’ communication campaign was made, in 2013, by the Department for Energy, which is under Economy Ministry’s coordination.
