PayPal’s Battle Hack reaches Poland
PayPal brings Battle Hack in CEE, with Poland to be organizing a local leg of the competition in Warsaw, on July 12-13.
The competition, that puts up for grabs a grand prix of $100,000, challenges the developers to prove their skills at the regional stage of the competition scheduled to take place in Warsaw, at Nowy Fort Sokolnickiego Stefana Czarnieckiego.
Developers that want to apply for the competition can do it for free, on competition’s website.
The winner of Warsaw competition will scoop “Poland’s Best Developer” title and the Viking Axe and will enter the final of the competition, that will take place in San Jose, California.
After last year’s success, PayPal Battle Hack – which has drawn over 2,000 from all over the world – starts again this year and includes Poland among competitor countries. The 2014 PayPal Battle Hack cities include: Tel Aviv (Israel), Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston (United States), Toronto (Canada) and Berlin (Germany). Battle Hack Warsaw will be the first PayPal’s developer focused event to be hosted by Poland.
During PayPal Battle Hack – one of the world’s biggest “developer” focused events – , developers are tasked with building an application that incorporates PayPal API or Braintree and Venmo Mobile SDKs, in order to solve a local problem of their choice, while also producing mind-blowing codes.
