Romanian state news agency’s general manager, elected general secretary of ABNA-SE

Alexandru Giboi, general manager of Romanian state news agency Agerpres, was unanimously elected as the new general secretary of ABNA-SE, during association’s General Assembly, organized in Durres (Albania).

Between December 2013- November 2014, Agerpres held ABNA’s presidency.

ABNA-SE must become the most important support for the journalists working in the member agencies (…) ABNA-SE will take official stance to support journalists’ activities all over the world, in a difficult context both financially and when it comes of journalists’ security

Agerpres handed over the presidency of the association to ATA, through its general manager Gezim Podgorica.
