iRewind won Newcomer award at ICT Swiss Award

Romanian-Swiss start-up iRewind, founded by Bogdan Manoiu, won, in its second year of existence, the highest Swiss recognition in ITC sector, “Newcomer Swiss ICT”, at Lucerne, on November 6th

iRewind convinced the jury with the system “OnAirCamera”, combining cameras with own software for sporting events. Localization is made through a smartphone’s functions and, in the end, each contestant receives a movie with his evolution in the competition directly from the mobile app. In Romania, iRewind was supported by Orange since 2012 and is present, with company’s support, on known Romanian sky-tracks, during the sky season

 

I am proud that, only 7 months after we won the big prize at inventions’ saloon in Geneve, iRewind gets now the biggest Swiss recognition in ITC. This makes me trustful that, like any owner of a movie made by us, we are on track! We’re here to make history and we are not afraid of pioneering. We thank Orange for the trust they had in us since the very beginning. We want to change the world and we think that, step by step, iRewind and the entire team working for this product started to do it
