Rom is trying to convince Romanians working abroad to come back home with a new campaign
ROM Autentic – Romania’s unofficial ambassador abroad – and McCann Bucharest are launching the “Come back, Romanian!” campaign, helping Romanians from home to convince their friends who left to work abroad to return to their native country.
Coming from Sîngeorz-Băi, Bistriţa-Năsăud county, a little town from where maybe half of the valuable young people in my generation emigrated, I can certainly say that I would like them to come back. Awesome students, valuable professionals, hard-working Romanians, they should all come back, now that they learned things and “stole” professions. I believe any Romanian in Romania has at least one friend who left abroad, so let’s bring them back

The first step to convince Romanians abroad to come home is to access campaign’s website – www.intoarceteRomane.ro. Once on the website, anyone can send to friends that left abroad an emotional movie, with sarmale (Romanian traditional dish), green meadows, bears, emotional music and pictures from childhood, a tool to convince them that it is better in Romania.
The second step is a more pragmatic one, ROM Autentic and Reviro HR company offer to Romanians working or studying abroad the option to look for a job in Romania, linking them with HR experts.
