Solitaire 3 Arena, a MavenHut title, among the most successful games on Facebook in 2014

Solitaire 3 Arena, the newest title from Romanian games developer MavenHut, was selected among the most successful games on Facebook in 2014 selected by Facebook team. This is the second important nomination for MavenHut, after Solitaire Arena was, last year, in top 50 apps that monetize on Facebook.

As one of the top 5 companies developing social games in Europe in terms of growth posted in 2014 (number of active players), MavenHut is a company  founded in 2012 by Cristi Badea, Bobby Voicu and Elvis Apostol. The start point for the 3 entrepreneurs was the participation to Startup Bootcamp Dublin, program that helped them develop the company and to get in touch with SOSventures investment fund, that offered them financing couple months later.

MavenHut’s performances received recognition and awards like Global Innovator Award la Global Tech Symposium 2013, best web app, best start-up and best co-founder at The Next Web Romanian Startup Awards 2013, best pitch at How to Web Startup Spotlight 2012 or Forbes Emergent Entrepreneur of the Year (offered to Cristi Badea).

In present, MavenHut has 30 employees, a development center in Bucharest and an office in Dublin. The company and its founders aim for developing new titles and expand the team.

The game was launched in May 2014 and has over 2M users, 70% women aged over 40 y.o., most in US, France and Germany.

Solitare 3 Arena is the second title from MavenHut with success on the international market and the nomination among the most successful games of the year on Facebook honors us and confirms that we manage continuously to make ourselves noticed within the industry of social games through the quality of our products. We want to continue this ascending trend also in 2014 and we aim to expand our team and launch new titles which we are convinced that will be at least as appreciated as the previous ones
