Queen of Measurement, special guest to a Romanian PR conference
Katie Delahaye Paine, also known as Queen of Measurement and the one that founded the measurement in communication at international level, will be present in Romania on May 25th, as special guest at PR’s impact in Business: investment or expense? conference, organized by GMP PR and the first event in Romania exclusively dedicated to evaluating and measuring PR.
Katie Delahaye Paine is, for more than 2 decades, a titan of communication measurement. Her books are mandatory reads both for beginners and for experts working in PR and social media. Her most recent book, written together with Beth Kanter, “Meaasuring Non-profit from network: using data to change the world” won, in 2013, the Terry McAdam Book Award.
Katie wrote numerous articles in PR News and is the author of a newsletter fully dedicated to measurement tools in communication. She is member in different international commissions and boards, authorities when it comes of measuring PR: IPR’s Measurement Commission, PRNews Measurement Hall of Fame and Society for New Communications Research.
The purpose of the conference in Romania is to bring on the public agenda actual subjects and to answer a key question: how efficient is PR and what’s its real impact in business. The event will take place at Ramada Plaza and targets all experts in marketing and communication and those who want to participate can register on event’s website
The period of words in PR and of the measurement based on the number of articles is over. CEOs are expecting from us results in business, not only at visibility level and “harmonious relations”. We are honored that an international personality as Katie is accepted our invitation and we believe that, through such a conference, the entire industry will draw benefits
