Garanti Bank kicks-off the 2nd “Learn 2B a Banker” trainee-ship program in Romania
Garanti Bank, one of the most dynamic and innovative banks on the Romanian market, launches this spring the second “Learn 2B a Banker” trainee-ship program, which will last for four months and will see the trainees paid. The training courses will be attended by 15 people, chosen after a selection process among fresh graduates of technical or economic master studies.
The “Learn 2B a Banker” program was officially launched at the beginning of last year, through a partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE). At the time, 20 interns were chosen from 950 applicants, to attend the first trainee learning session, held between February-May 2014. 15 were subsequently hired at Garanti Bank and given the chance to start their careers in the financial sector.
We believe that the youth should have the chance to start their career in a dynamic financial environment and our “Learn 2B a Banker” program provides young people with this opportunity. We have high hopes for this new generation of trainees. We wish them all great luck and to hopefully become our colleagues in four months’ time
Melania Jaravete,
Human Resources Director Garanti Romania.
Participants will receive a mix of theoretical information and practical experiences regarding the services and products in the banking and financial sector. The learning sessions will be held within Garanti Bank’s branches, granting the trainees access to a variety of specific banking activities, while developing their professional and organizational skills. At the end of the 4-month training, they will have the chance to become part of the Garanti Bank team.
“Learn 2B a Banker” program allows trainees to accumulate practical experience working in the real business environment, gives them access to specialized training and the opportunity to be a part of our team on the long term following the traineeship, according to performance.
