The Alternative School launches a competition for scholarships
The creative MBA The Alternative School for Creative Thinking launched a competition for the scholarships it offer for its Cannes Semester and announced it receives, by January 26th, the solutions for the cyber+design brief submitted by young creatives aged up to 30 years old.
Following the study period and internal competitions, the best Alternative teams will qualify for the design and digital creativity competition in Cannes.
The design and cyber brief launches the same challenge, developing and promoting #LadiesFirst platform, dedicated to ladies from creative industries. The instruments differ – design is prioritizing creating a logo and a magazine layout, while cyber focuses on the digital strategy. The brief is available here.
Those who don’t qualify for scholarships can attend the school for the Cannes semester after paying a participation fee of Euro 220 per team or of Euro 150 per person.
The creative MBA The Alternative School entered its 11th year of existence and, over time, thousands of students participated to its classes. Some of those qualified for international experiences are performing at international level, in the main creative hubs of the world (Hamburg, New York, Singapore, Rotterdam or London), while others are performing in Romanian agencies and companies (Geometry, Leo Burnett, Publicis, McCann, Sab Miller, Unilever, Albalact).
In 2013 and 2014, the Alternative teams Bokeh (Alex Haidamac, Natalia Sfetcu) and Flipsters (Bianca Dumitrascu, Razvan Ghilencea) won Gold in the same categories dedicated to design and digital creativity, establishing a record for Romania, while Order of merit or Gold in other competitions are distinctions associated to each of the 10 students generations until now, transforming The Alternative School in a landmark for the creative education in the region.
Renania is school’s sponsor for one of competition categories while the second financial partner will be confirmed during the year.
