We’re delighted to be partnering with D&AD as the Next Photographer Award enters its third year. It is a unique award with a great breadth of entries, and we’ve unearthed some truly remarkable talent.
We’re pleased to see how it continues to evolve, enabling us to support more emerging photographers from across the globe and celebrate the level of craft and originality that goes into creating their imagery.
The D&AD Next Awards are unique in the industry because not only do they find the people making amazing work, but through D&AD’s network of creative connections they promote them to the industry to further their careers.
Shortlisted entrants and Winners receive international exposure for their work, mentoring from a wide portfolio of acclaimed photographers, agents, production companies and advertising agencies, plus the chance to win funding and grants towards personal and commissioned projects. Showcases and galleries of their work will also be a feature of D&AD Festival 2017.
There’s no age limit for either award. Photographers can submit up to five images and any type of photography – whether fashion, advertising, art, portrait or editorial. Directors need to have less than two years industry experience and can submit any type of film up to five minutes long, whether it’s live action, animation, commercials, documentaries, short films, music videos or branded content.
The campaign has been designed by F/Nazca Saatchi&Saatchi Brazil and there will be more to follow.
