Belarusan marcomm industry prepares for 9th White Square festival
White Square, international advertising festival taking place in Belarus, prepares for its 9th edition, which will be attended by industry professionals from more then 25 countries. The 9th edition of White Square is scheduled to take place in Minsk, between April 27-29, and is organized by Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus, a member of EACA.
White Square is an ambitious and fast evolving festival from Eastern Europe and is also a conceptual festival, named after a combination between Kazimir Malevich’s Black Square (as a symbol of Belarusian avant-gardes roots in art) and a clean sheet of paper (symbol of birth of new ideas).
In 2017, the festival takes place under the tagline “Creativity Wins!” and the submissions period already started. The entries can be submitted online, on festival’s website, in five big competitive categories: Creativity, Branding, Marketing, Digital and Social Advertising.
The entries will be evaluated by an international jury including professionals that achieved worldwide recognition in the field.
The festival attracts annually over 1,000 entries from Europe (Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, etc.), Central Asia and the CIS. White Square also attracts over 700 participants to every edition with festival associated programs, like business and educational one or evening and excursion one.
