MassiveMusic and The Next Web to present ‘Music Summit’
The Next Web Conference and international music agency MassiveMusic will present Music Summit, an entirely new and specially curated three hour program scheduled to take place on the second day of TNW conference (19th May).
Enlisting an unique combination of tech legends and music pioneers, the Music Summit – which will be held in front of over 1,000 attendees and broadcast online to millions – aims to inspire decision makers, industry leaders and creatives with stories born at the intersection of music and technology.
The program’s current line-up includes speakers like Hardwell (DJ, music producer, record label owner), Poppy Crum (Chief Scientist, Dolby Labs), Molly Neuman (Head of Music, Kickstarter), Colin Benders (Musician, Composer and Producer) and Henry Daw (UI/UX Sound Specialist).
Besides inspiration and entertainment, the program is also meant to highlight the importance of music, key to brand consistency and crucial for brands who are trying to cut through the noise emotionally.
Hans Brouwer, CEO and Founder MassiveMusic:
It’s no mystery that music and tech have always gone hand in hand, now more than ever. At MassiveMusic we have a global network of tech-focused music partners and friends – from product designers, UI sound specialists, interactive composers to digital platform owners and music data analysts. Some of them will be on stage imparting key insights on how brands, advertisers and creatives from various fields can harness the power of sound and music through the latest trends in technology.
Wytze de Haan, Director of Events TNW:
Music has always played a role in TNW Conference – whether as part of the grand opening, during the breaks or at the after party, we’ve brought various live musical acts for our attendees to enjoy. This year we wanted to take it a step further by actually hosting a dedicated music summit ourselves and bring together tech-savvy musicians and music-loving entrepreneurs. We’re proud to have MassiveMusic as a partner and we can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store.
Bringing together 15,000 of the world’s top leaders, entrepreneurs, talents, venture capitalists and experts, TNW Conference offers a whole host of business development, thought-leading content and networking opportunities across four stages and over 300 exhibitors.
Anchored on the future of technology, innovation, marketing, communication and imagination, there are also over 50 fringe events taking place across the two-day event in Amsterdam.
