Motorola playfully responds to Samsung’s ‘Growing Up’ Ad
Motorola released a new video today in response to Samsung’s ‘Upgrade to Galaxy’ ad that playfully encourages people to ‘Up-upgrade’ to the company’s innovative moto z family of smartphones and moto mods instead of the latest Galaxy Note 8 (here).
The original Samsung ad features an iPhone fan who finally purchases the latest Galaxy smartphone after years of seeing his girlfriend show off her own Samsung Galaxy. Motorola took Samsung’s ad one step further and, in less than two weeks, imagined and produced the end of the clip where the man comes home to show his girlfriend his new Samsung Galaxy. What happens next catches him completely by surprise.
It’s time to go past upgrades and rethink the smartphone. Motorola’s moto z family and moto mods allow for different features to be added to your phone in a snap. In Motorola’s new video, the ultra-cool Insta-Share projector is featured, which allows you to project videos from your phone and turn any flat surface into a 70” big screen on the fly.
And that’s just the beginning. The moto z family gives users other mods in Moto’s arsenal including a 360° camera, giving you the ability to relive memories in fully interactive 4K 360° video. Heard about the JBL SoundBoost speaker? It allows you to add booming speakers to your moto z anytime! As true game changers, the mods are much more than just upgrades – each opens up tons of new possibilities for your phone.
What better opportunity to highlight Motorola’s innovations than a fun, playful response?
